signing up for the #pondathon!

hello everyone, it’s been a while since i last posted. before i begin the post, here’s a short life update – i’m done with exams, and finally have gotten all of my papers back 😀 i did pretty well in most of them and some of my teachers even took me aside to tell me they were proud of how much i’ve improved academically. overall i’m really pleased with my progress and i’m so happy my effort paid off.

to celebrate, i’ll be rewarding myself by joining a readathon! i’m a huge fan of readathons, because they give me the opportunity to interact with other participants, and motivate me to read more.

monthly marshmallows – november 2019

we’re now in the last month of the decade. my brain is still struggling to process this – i had no idea everything would pass by so quickly! i still haven’t finished writing my summer traveling diaries (they’ll be up on the blog soon… maybe next year 🙈), but winter is already upon us (it technically hasn’t begun yet but i’ve already gotten a bad cold because of the cool weather).

the waffle book tag

waffles are waffley delicious. (i’m a pun queen. ♛)

i haven’t always liked waffles. however, that changed when i visited their place of origin – belgium. there’s a two-storey waffle place near the hotel we were staying at, and my parents wanted to go there for breakfast, so we sat down and ordered some waffles with toppings of our own choice. i ended up enjoying my waffle so much, i insisted that we went back the very next day!
